Fashion || Daily Paper Spring/Summer 2014 LookBook

One thing that I really love about Daily Paper is the amazing prints that they manage to fuse in well with their collections. Since its inception, the Amsterdam based label has had amazing bold patterns and striking African inspired motifs. The whole inspiration or rather theme for this collection goes back to the African Kuba Kingdom of the 16 century. The kingdom known for its beauty and precision, this kingdom's distinctive aesthetic is the bold geometric patterns and bright colors across well tailored tees, denim shirts, chore coats, bomber jackets and embroidered shorts. This collection is absolutely incredible and I would WEAR everything in this collection, this is dope shit! The collection will be available at selected retail stores and online right HERE.

Gavin Rajah x Legit collection

Summer is in, and we all showing our skin, we loosing weight and we

getting very close to the fun-filled festive season. And what better

way to spend your holidays wearing Gavin Rajah's new collection in

collaboration with South Africa's clothing shop Legit.

Woolworths RE: Denim Jeans x Candice Swanepoel

A month ago, South African model best known for her works on

Victoria's Secret Candice Swanepoel.. Landed in South Africa to shoot

a campaign with Woolworths and charity works for Operation Smile. We

all know her as the blonde girl that struts the runway in every

designer clothing all the time and for Woolworths to star a super

model like Candice Swanepoel for this particular campaign it couldn't

be any better.

With summer and the fun festive season on the way which we are all

excited about, Woolies creates a denim collection for Woolworths RE:

Denim jeans starring the beautiful model Candice Swanepoel. I'm sure

you ladies are already imagining yourselves in these hot denim pieces.

I love how denim always is an integral part on spring/summer trends

and how it perfectly fits with anything if executed perfectly and how

it squeezes its way with ease.

And with this campaign, Woolworths really did pull out all the stops

to release one the best that triggers any young South African lady to

wear their denim perfectly.

Daily Paper Fall/Winter 2013 Editorial by Marnix Postma

Designed with a characteristic reminiscent backdrop of an African

village. Daily Paper releases new F/W collection 2013. The collection

continues to draw inspiration from different African cultures. The

collection mostly drew inspiration from the Mali mud cloth and Kenyan

Maasai tribe. The eye-catching editorial was shot by an amazing Dutch

photographer Marnix Postma. What you can expect from the range is an

assortment of printed t-shirts, corduroy button ups, varsity jackets

and wool crew neck sweaters. The Amsterdam label continues to portray

its latest offer in a very distinctive manner. Check out the look

Zara Menswear Summer LookBook SS13

Zara has released a new summer/spring 2013 collection.. I have no idea

what took me so long to post about this, but anyway this menswear

collection incorporates finer materials to create a range of summer

tailoring with a strong sense of luxury.

I love how Zara accentuates with leather accessories and pairs fringed

bluchers.. That make an instant statement through out the collection.

Its classic, summery, timeless and aesthetic.

Zara is definitely a trendsetter, I like how the modern fashion trends

are introduced through out the collection, mainly the trends that are

in now.. Like monochrome (my favourite) and a vast number of prints as

well. Its a very fun trend yet still doesn't loose its emphasis of

class and of high definition with its impeccable tailoring.
