GaschetteMagazine is undoubtedly one of the best online digital magazines to ever grace South Africa as of current. Since its launch, Gaschette Mag has attracted a horde number of individuals who are interested in the distinctiveness of each publication, the editorial work that overwhelms me each time, the snappy and clever titles and the catchy content are just one of the many reasons why I remain a stan for this Magazine. It’s seldom to find a local magazine that can go over the top and play around with fashion elements just as these guys do, their evocative photography topped with immaculacy and coherency are hard to spot onto any other magazine locally.

So after creating my Behance account last night, I came across Steve Marais account and with my knowledge I knew that this dude was involved somehow with Gaschette magazine, I then found myself on to his activities, a capsule of hot, striking photography, sexy models in artful positions, A different world – I couldn’t stop gasping at their noteworthy work that needs to be commended on. Cameron van der Burgh’s last month’s cover still is my favourite, who knew that an Olympian swimmer like him could pull off such poses – can someone get him a modelling agency! This dude’s latent talent (a bit of anagram there, latent-talent) is about to be revealed.

The Birkenstock’s Fashion Come-back!

I have never thought that Birkenstocks would make a come-back on to our fashion trend reports. After listening to a group of girls which I presumed that they knew a thing or two about fashion through the threads that they wear wearing that day, they criticized the slightest sight of these defenseless pair of shoes, and at that stage my opinion of Birkenstocks was shattered forever. I always listen to people’s conversations, and no this doesn’t make me of any sort of eavesdropper, I am just interested at how other people think, how they voice out their opinions or whether or not  their opinions do resonate with me. And you come across different things, people with different personalities and different tastes, This I admire because you get to share your inner thoughts as well, it’s more of like a food chain where one feeds of another.  But in this scenario I made sure that I control myself from the triggers of participating in this intriguing “Birkenstock debate” because If I did, I’m sure I wouldn’t have succeeded anyhow, besides when girls are involved you should expect all kinds of drama or let me just say they find it pretty hard to accept defeat.

These pair of shoes have been mocked a numerous times and this wasn’t the first encounter where I came across a heating argument concerning these shoes, growing up, no kid I knew of wanted Birkenstocks, But through the attention that these shoes are garnering from people, Fashion designers and Trend Analysts have acted upon this by introducing Birkenstocks on to their coveted collections, They have transposed the typicality of these shoes and have introduced a whole new dimension of how and what Birkenstocks should look like in the 21^st century. Respected fashion labels like Givenchy, Zara to Marc Jacobs have created their own version of the cult sandal and have revived the 80’s & 90’s Birkenstocks with coloured stingray patterns, two tone coloured palette’s and also denim. So let’s give them a round of applause for having to go an extra mile just to make these shoes modern appealing. Denim Apparrell for Winter!

Denim has been around, and it is one of the most coveted fashion pieces that everyone should have on their closets, And with winter all up on our grillz (Literally, I dont have grillz, I wish I had.) its time to gear up for this cold season. Denim is imperative for any fashion enthused individual because you find that you want something that's either ripped or has two tone colours which we call ombre, something that adds a bit of edge to your dry dull wardrobe and denim plays that role especially if you have the perfect denim that you feel comfortable in. So here I present to you outfits to try this winter featuring this fashionable piece that never ceases to run out!

Neutral Colours for Winter!

The other exciting thing about winter are neutral colours, you sometimes get to a point where you want to tone things down a bit because there’s quite a lot of hype when it comes to wearing bold ‘in your face’ colours well the first step of losing that typicality is to wear neutral colours, like beige, nude, white, camel and brown. These colours just scream winter because of their warmth and how they look without having any bold factor whatsoever, so they are perfect for winter considering that the cold season is right on our doorstep, maybe it is already. Winter is a season to keep warm and having surrounding pieces like coats, fur, biker jackets and lace dresses you basically are already buckled for winter. So to make things easier for you ladies I curated three different style looks on how to achieve the style of wearing nude-coloured pieces, I broke this styling session into three complete days mainly because I want to show you through a capsule of images how you can rock this look flawlessly. So I’ve gathered One, for work so you can expect formal wear here, Secondly, casual wear you can enjoy a brunch with friends with this look or just go out for coffee with a loved one and finally Three, a night out look perfect for going all out with your girls and you can add a bit of bold lip colour since everything you wearing is neutral. Since Erykha Badu is somewhere in South Africa right now I thought I should just post something that involves her in some way or another, Already being the face of Givenchy SS14 Erykha Badu poses in a retro black and white style for Purple Magazine this was a while ago, but I could not control myself from posting this on the blog, these images have that distinctness when it comes to fashion, the editorial work that went into this is truly amazing!

Fashion || Adidas Orignals x The Farm Comapany!

Adidas Originals has a way of maintaining a standard of producing phenomenal fashion with phenomenal brands. Such artistry and word class acclaim amalgamates into a flawlessly created collection. I just love how distinct Adidas is when it comes to working with other fashion labels, what they put in, on creating stunning fashion pieces  in connection with the partnering brand really is what they get out. And I couldn’t have summed this up better than presenting to you a new collaboration: ADIDAS ORIGNALS X THE FARM COMPANY.

 Yes, to be deadly honest I really had no idea whatsoever what Farm is in this collab and how they got to partner with Adidas Originals in the first place. But after much needed googling and research The Farm Company is actually a Brazilian label. An international creative agency based in South America. The collaboration was actually created to celebrate the upcoming FIFA Soccer World Cup with a collection that’s fueling with bold colourful, juicy and eye popping prints, basically the signature style of The Farm Company.

I really admire the understated prints and graphics in this collection - fusion of sportswear and colour. It all comes and mixes well altogether so perfectly, but really, isn’t this what we should all expect when two powerhouse brands such as these come together as one?  Adidas Originals and The Farm Company gelled together their unique styles to create a sportswear masterpiece that I for one absolutely love It’s incredibly well put together from its design aspects to launch!

Fashion || KIMYE Covers April Issue of Vogue!

It finally happened after months of speculation, Kim Kardashion and her soon to be husband Kanye West cover the April issue of Vogue Magazine. Wow, that was my first reaction when I saw the news streaming in on twitter( Wouldn't mind if you would follow me  @KhanyaNgxabani) This is issue is one of the biggest issue vogue has ever published according to social networks, this cover brings so much controversy. But KIMYE are so happy that they finally got to cover Vogue.. Kim K was so happy, remember this was the very first cover of her in Vogue so she had to be. Its a lovely cover even their liitle baby girl North is in here!

If this is any indication, we have a beautiful wedding ceremony to look forward to in France!

Fashion Week is without a doubt a learning curve for anyone who has no clue about couture, gowns and classic menswear clothing. The very people who convey this message well has to be fashion bloggers, who take the very weird designer collection and turn it into modern and fashionable way of dressing. So i'm always on the look out for street style for everything fashion week and i must say Paris Fashion Week is the most inspiring. This post is all about street style shots from Paris Fashion Week. Fashion || Dolce & Gabana Fall 2014

Dolce & Gabana's classic fairy tale resemblance was full of blooming roses enchanted keys to friendly forest creatures and literal red and black hoods. The way the fairy tale theme felt so real, that the set had a huge gloomy ancient tree. This collection was a bit weird and awful well not entirely cause there are beautiful pieces you ladies can indulge over.

Moschino Fall Milan Fashion Week 2014:

Moschino is always up to par when they showcase their classic and dramatic designs they are without a doubt word class shit. Moschino happens to be one of the best labels celebrities are on the look out for mainly because of its relevancy to the youth and their amazing designs of course. This show case completely blew me away.. I love colour! Moschino managed to deliver that to me!
